years to bear fruit. You can coax it, coddle it, chide it, ignore it. The only
thing that you can't do is hurry it.
So too in our own lives, certain goals cannot be achieved through short-cuts. In a world of instant gratification, overnight fads and quick thrills, it's well to remember that some of life's most special joys take the longest. But if it's worth having, it's worth waiting for.
